Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: 29 September 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to professional services provided by Advisor Daddy & Associates (“Advisor Daddy”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By making a payment or confirming an assignment, the client agrees to this Policy, subject to applicable law.

1. Refund Request Within 24 Hours

A client may submit a cancellation/refund request within 24 hours from the time of payment, provided substantive work on the assignment has not already commenced.

Where no substantive work has commenced and no non-refundable government, statutory, professional or third-party cost has been incurred or committed, the eligible amount may be refunded after deduction of applicable payment gateway, banking or transaction charges, if any.

2. Commencement of Work

For purposes of this Policy, work may be considered commenced when Advisor Daddy or its assigned professional/team has undertaken one or more substantive steps toward the engagement, including document review, consultation, drafting, preparation of forms/applications, professional analysis, portal processing, coordination with third parties, or other material work relating to the assignment.

Mere administrative acknowledgement of an enquiry or payment will not, by itself, be treated as substantive professional work.

3. Cancellation After Work Has Commenced

If the client requests cancellation after substantive work has commenced, Advisor Daddy shall be entitled to deduct reasonable amounts attributable to:

  • Professional work already performed;

  • Professional time reserved or committed to the assignment;

  • Documentation, drafting, consultation and processing undertaken;

  • Administrative and operational resources utilised;

  • Government/statutory fees already paid or committed;

  • Third-party professional or certification charges incurred or committed;

  • Other non-recoverable expenses directly attributable to the assignment.

Depending upon the stage and extent of work completed or committed, such deductions may be up to 90% of the total service amount.

Any balance remaining after applicable deductions shall constitute the eligible refund amount.

4. Cases Where Refund May Not Be Available

Subject to applicable law, no refund will ordinarily be available where:

  • The agreed service has been substantially or fully completed;

  • An application, form, return or document has already been submitted to the relevant authority;

  • Government/statutory fees or non-recoverable third-party charges have already been incurred;

  • The client provided incorrect, incomplete or misleading information resulting in rejection or inability to proceed;

  • The client fails to provide required documents, information, OTP, signature, approval or cooperation after work has commenced;

  • The application is rejected, queried or delayed by a government department, regulatory authority, certification body or other independent third party for reasons not attributable to a deficiency in Advisor Daddy’s agreed service;

  • The client independently decides not to continue after substantive professional work has been performed.

5. Government and Third-Party Fees

Government fees, statutory fees, stamp duty, certification-body charges, publication expenses, notarisation charges, inspection charges and other third-party expenses already paid, committed or rendered non-recoverable are not refundable by Advisor Daddy.

Any refund from an independent third party shall remain subject to that party’s own policy and actual recovery of the amount.

6. Rejection by Government/Authority

Payment for professional assistance does not guarantee approval of an application.

A rejection, objection, query or delay by a government department, regulator, certification body or other competent authority shall not automatically create a right to refund where Advisor Daddy has performed the agreed professional services.

Where additional work such as resubmission, reply, appeal, hearing or rectification falls outside the original scope, additional professional fees may apply.

7. Client Delay or Non-Response

Where an assignment cannot proceed because the client does not provide required documents, information, confirmation or payment, the assignment may be placed on hold.

Amounts relating to work already performed and costs already incurred shall remain chargeable.

8. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests should be made in writing and should include:

  • Client name;

  • Invoice/payment details;

  • Service purchased;

  • Date of payment; and

  • Reason for cancellation.

Requests may be sent to:

Email: info@advisordaddy.com

9. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, the eligible refund amount will ordinarily be processed through an appropriate payment method after completion of internal verification and calculation of applicable deductions.

Banking/payment-gateway processing times may apply after the refund has been initiated.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or override any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.
